Employees with Select Coverage through our health plan now pay only
$25 copay for in-network primary care physician (PCP) office visits.
PCPs include Family Practice, General Practice, OB/GYN, Internal
Medicine, and Pediatric including Nurse Practitioners and Registered
Dietitians, as well as Physician Assistants working in a primary care
setting. Charges for services provided in the physician’s office such
as lab work and x-rays are applied a 20% coinsurance, not subject to the
deductible. The copay does not apply to specialists or out-of-network
providers, hospital visits, or labs and tests a providers sends out to
another facility for processing. In these instances, the appropriate
deductible and coinsurance will apply. The PCP office visit copay does
not apply to the Base Coverage.
